The trip to Cobán was such a blessing! Our expectations were exceeded. We blessed to help two villages. It was incredible to see how they worked together in unity, grated and above all the blessing of the Lord.
God us with and incredible sense of brotherhood between the Derek boys and the Avenue men. Although we came from different cultures and spoke different languages, we were united by God’s love and the desire to serve. Every shared prayer and every moment of work reminded us that as Christians we are one family in Christ.
The journey to the villages was challenging. We walked up steep, muddy paths, at sometimes in the rain, but the joy of the people welcoming us erased all tiredness.
As we said goodbye, we took with us in our hearts the certainty that this joint effort left an indelible mark, both in the villages and in our own lives.
This trip was a transformative experience that taught us that when we work together in God's name. We can make an eternal difference.
