Iris Calderon

I am the baby of my family, the fifth of 5 children.  I live with my mother and my 5 older siblings.  My mother does not have a steady job, but she usually babysits.  That job does not bring in much money, so we have always struggled to make ends meet.  When I was a child, I had many difficulties at school because I could not pay fees and did not have everything I needed for my classes.

I would like to become a professional chef.  Since I was a little girl, I have helped my mother in the kitchen, and that’s where my passion for cooking was born.
