Emerson Hernández

I live with my parents, my younger brother and my older sister. Day in and day out, we face the problem of not having enough money. My father couldn’t find a work for about 3 years and we had many difficult days. Three months ago he was finally able to find a work making rubber items. Even so, our economic situation has not improved much because my father does not receive a fixed salary and it is not enough to cover expenses. That is why I have worked to help my family, sometimes doing chores in other houses or carrying construction material.

My father’s experience has helped me realize that school is very important.  He was not able to get a job because of his low level of education.

I would like to be an auto mechanic.
